Efficient Scheduling of Home Energy Management Controller (HEMC) Using Heuristic Optimization Techniques

The main problem for both the utility companies and end-used is to efficiently schedule home appliances using energy management optimize consumption. microgrid, macro grid, Smart Grid (SG) are state-of-the-art technology that user environment-friendly, reliable, flexible, controllable. Both end-users interested in effectively utilizing different heuristic optimization techniques address demand-supply based on consumption patterns. Similarly, end-user has a greater concern with electricity bills, how minimize reduce Peak Average Ratio (PAR). Home Energy Management Controller (HEMC) integrated into smart by providing many benefits as well utility. In this research paper, we design an efficient HEMC system such Genetic Algorithm (GA), Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO), Wind Driven (WDO), stated above. We consider typical home, have large number of on-site renewable generation storage system. As key contribution, here focus incentive-based programs Demand Response (DR) Time Use (ToU) pricing schemes which restrict during peak demands. From results figures, it clear our not only schedules all but also generates optimal patterns ToU scheme. secondary deploying scheme paying minimum while considering comfort, at same time benefiting utilities reducing demand. graphs, GA shows better than WDO BPSO, cost, BPSO more prominent calculating PAR.
